I knew I would regret that post in the morning. sorry if you were permenently scarred by my insanity. things like this happen sometimes, and you should be used to it by now...
I just finished cooking my tomato soup-at-hand thingy ma jig.....while it was heating up in the old fashioned microwave here at college, it started making suspicious noises.
random bystander: are you overcooking your food?
me: no, actually. I am not....I put it in there like two seconds ago
random bystander: but it sounds like-
me: yes, I know it sounds like explosive diahrrea
random bystander: I was going to say that it sounded like it was bubbling over or something.....but yeah I guess what you said works too. *walks away with strange expression*
I probably wouldn't have piped up with this observation that made me sound weird and immature, but many people have told me that my food was making strange noises in the microwave...(pretty much every time I bring soup for lunch actually) and I was sick of the annoying questions. I mean, I'm standing right here in front of the microwave, letting it send all its microwave radiation straight into my body, so I think I know that my lunch is having bowel issues. I can hear it too.
but no matter how gross and mutant my soup sounds while its being nuked, it still comes out all warm and delicious so I don't worry about what it could be doing in there to cause such loud and disturbing noises. is it gross that I drink soup from a cup that may or may not be having explosive diahrrea? nope not really.
welcome to the story of my life.
