Wednesday, March 16

because I'm sure you care about this.

this is going to be a long two days.

tomorrow I'm missing school for band festival...*ahem* excuse me, now it's called "assessment". apparently "festival" sounds too fun. whatever.

and I'm spending most of my Friday at the scholarship competition for my future college.
and I have to dress up. yippee.

what exactly is "business casual", anyway?

I'm hopefully getting a job soon, my first choice is at the new froyo place they're opening nearby, because who doesn't want to spend their whole day surrounded by amazing frozen yogurt and brightly painted walls?

and.... *drumroll* I'm getting my license, finally.
well, in a month and a half. but I'm getting there! :P

this post is obviously a filler until I have time to finish the semi-longer one I'm still working on....

so until then, enjoy these lovely before-and-after shots of my new haircut:

before...

after...

the jury's still out with my opinion on it. all I know is its a heck of a lot easier to deal with this short.

enjoy the rest of your week :)

I got invited to a party once and the dress theme was 'smart casual' and I didn't know what that was, so I Googled it and it came up with golf clothes. I don't know how that's supposed to help you though.

allie- 1) thanks! we got good ratings from all the judges :)
2)yeah...I'm kinda worried that they won't give me a scholarship just because I'm not wearing the right "category" of clothing...
3) the bright green I'm cool with, but I'm not so sure about the bright pink...
4)I know! so excited :D
5) thank you! I woke up this morning and had totally forgotten how short it was and freaked out when I looked in the mirror, lol

emily- having dressing guidelines is completely lame...especially if you're supposed to wear golf clothes, since that is the lamest sport ever...

I think maybe I'll compromise with "dressy" clothes and my lime green converse XD

thanks for the comments, guys :)
